"As a former rock musician, I had my own ideas of how God was going to use me. I can play seven instruments by ear and sing - so, to me, it was obvious that God should have used my musical abilities. Yet, God didn't call me to play music. He called me to do something that I couldn't do - to preach the Gospel. Now, with music, I felt confident. But, with preaching, I felt like I was being asked to walk on water! There was nothing to fall back on for me - evangelism was a calling that required me to trust in the power of God!
